Meet the Staff
Marie Imoh, LPC
Clinical Director
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; also known as the city of brotherly love. Being from the city, I am used to noisy crowds, lively culture, and endless opportunities to experience rich history. In Winchester and Front Royal, I now enjoy small-but-close communities centered on family. I am passionate about education and learning, specifically in the mental health field and decided to complete my master's in mental health counseling. When I was younger I wanted to be a teacher and a writer, with the latter still being my unfulfilled dream. I have been with NCG since 2009 and I have been fortunate to be able to pursue my passion.... not in the classroom, but where teaching really begins... in the home. For me, providing care and helping families and individuals to navigate through life’s challenges--by discovering their inner strengths and surrounding resources--has proven to be deeply rewarding and fulfilling.
Alexis Geisler, MSEd, LPC, NCC
Administration Director
I was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area and am thrilled to be able to serve the community that I am so proud to have been a product of.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Radford University and then went on earn my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Old Dominion University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including acute hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, traditional outpatient, as well as in-home. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they begin to embark on the journey of self-discovery and exploration.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
Andrea Ernst
Clinical Supervisor
I joined NCG in 2007 as a community based counselor and became a supervisor for home-based and skill building services in 2008. My passion is working with young children, and utilizing play and art to assist children with expression of feelings. I enjoy spending time outside with my husband and daughter, especially when enjoying the breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Valley in the fall.
Alicia Billy, LMHP-S
Clinical Supervisor
Social work wasn't a choice for me, it was a purpose. I firmly believe in the Great I AM, family, and self-determination. I'm currently supervising Shenandoah County TDT and practicing social work services to individuals and families in need. I proudly share that I am a first generation Mexican-American and the first to graduate high school and earn a college education in my family. My time off is spent with my husband, my two sons, and my dog, Launchpad. Those who know me, know that I live life with a smile each day and will randomly praise Jesus for all the blessings He has given, and is giving, to us each day.
Beth Garner, LCSW
Clinical Supervisor
Originally from Maryland, I have enjoyed living in Virginia since 2001. I received my master's in social work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and loved doing geriatric case management for the Baltimore County Health Department until my first child was born. After taking some time off to raise children, I re-entered the field and was blessed to be hired by NCG in 2008. I currently work supervising and training staff, completing assessments, and providing outpatient counseling.
Nina Siebens, LCSW
Clinical Supervisor
I am a clinical supervisor for the Warren County Therapeutic Day Treatment Program for NCG. I have extensive experience and training both in psychiatric social work settings (including hospital and adult and adolescent daycare facilities), as well as with special education services in schools, working with children of all ages and their families. I work to help children, teens, and families identify factors that may enhance their personal growth.
I love the outdoors and especially enjoy hiking, kayaking, and canoeing. I enjoy incorporating the appreciation of nature in my own life, as well as in my work with clients.
