Site Manager

I have been working in the mental health field since 1997 as a Qualified Mental Health Profession and have been with National Counseling Group since 2011. I've enjoyed my experiences working in various roles, including as a Mental Health Skills Builder, in Therapeutic Day Treatment, and as an Intensive In- Home Counselor. After graduating from Regent University with a Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling Degree, I pursued my Licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since becoming licensed, I have been honored to become a Supervisor, an Outpatient Therapist, and currently working as a Site Manager. Lisa Strother, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

I joined the NCG family in 2018 as a Community Based Counselor, then transitioned to School-Based Counselor, Outpatient Therapist, and now Clinical Supervisor.  I earned a BS in Psychology from University of Maryland Global Campus and a MSW from University of Hawai’i.  I’m currently pursuing a certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy and hope to someday incorporate one of my four lovable basset hounds into my practice.  I use concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Positive Psychology to empower children, adolescents, and adults to overcome barriers to success, to achieve wellness, and to reach life goals.
