Meet the Staff
Nakkia Brickhouse, LCSW, RPT-S
State Director
I have been with NCG since June, 2008. I started out as a Community Based Counselor II, then became a clinical supervisor, and an Assistant Site Director at the Virginia Beach site. I obtained my B.S. from Old Dominion University and my MSW degree from Norfolk State University. I am in the process of becoming a registered play therapist, and have started the Crisis Stabilization Program for children and adults at the Virginia Beach site. I also enjoy reading and watching movies.
Catwana Elliott, MS, LPC
Site Manager
I joined the NCG family in 2015. I've worked in various community-based programs, including Crisis Stabilization, and later joined the management team in 2021. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Chowan University. I then earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am an advisor and member of the Sunshine Committee, a committee that is responsible for organizing company events and fostering team morale. Some of my interests include spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and karaoke.
Lemuel Williams, MA, CT, LPC
Clinical Supervisor
I began working at NCG in 2010, providing both intensive in-home and MHSS services. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology and computer science from Oral Roberts University and a dual master's in school and community counseling from Regent University. I am a National Certified Counselor, Certified Traumatologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Resident LMFT. I have a passion for trauma and have had the privilege to travel, doing trauma work in South Africa, Haiti, Nicaragua, Kenya, and Romania. Fun fact about me: I play 8 musical instruments!
Sara Boyd, MS
Supervisee in Social Work
I joined the NCG team in August of 2022. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Longwood University in 2018, and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 2023, and I am currently pending licensure. I am very excited to be working in a supervisory setting as I have developed a great passion for fostering growth and development in any way that I can; within myself, my clients, my team, my organization, my community, and my profession. When I am not at work, I am probably doing something outside, like going on a run, walking my dog, or, most importantly, sitting on the beach.
Quentasia Reed, MS, Resident in Counseling
Clinical Supervisor
I joined NCG in December of 2023. I earned a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sports Administration in 2020, and a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental health Counseling in 2024. I am currently pending licensure. I have a passion for working with children and athletes, however I am open to working with all individuals and growing within the mental health field. I am excited to work in a supervisory setting, as it is another opportunity for growth and to inspire my clients, my team, and those within my community to grow within themselves. When I am not working, I enjoy quality time with friends and family.
Amber McGill, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work
MST Supervisor
I joined the NCG team in January of 2024 and I'm currently a Clinical Supervisor of the Multisystemic Program in Norfolk. I obtained my Associates Degree at Tidewater Community College and later began my focus in the field of social work at Norfolk State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s. In August 2021, I successfully earned my Master’s in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. My goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I'm currently preparing to sit for the LCSW exam. I'm a passionate advocate for mental health and foster a genuine love for my community. With a background in therapy and a natural talent for connecting with others, I've dedicated my life to creating safe spaces where people feel validated, and I look forward to working with others within the Hampton Roads area.
