I have been with NCG since June, 2008. I started out as a Community Based Counselor II, then became a clinical supervisor, and an Assistant Site Director at the Virginia Beach site. I obtained my B.S. from Old Dominion University and my MSW degree from Norfolk State University. I am in the process of becoming a registered play therapist, and have started the Crisis Stabilization Program for children and adults at the Virginia Beach site. I also enjoy reading and watching movies.

I've been with National Counseling Group for over 15 years and have more than 25 years of client- and family-centered therapeutic experience. I serve children, pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults and intergenerational clients and their families in vulnerable and underserved communities. I earned my B.S. from Troy University in Alabama and a Master of Science in Education in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I've also completed the Management Fellows Program at The Anderson School of Business, University of California in LA.

I'm experienced as an administrator for up to 200 staff members, including 15 years of experience in program design and management, record-keeping and reporting, community assessment, strategic planning, grant writing, program oversight, monitoring, mentoring, staff development, training and technical assistance.
