I have been with NCG since July 2012. I have held the position of a Community Based Counselor II/Clinical Assessor, Assistant Site Director and my current role as Site Director. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Community and Clinical Psychology from Norfolk State University. I have always valued the importance of remaining humble and being a helping hand to those less fortunate and or to anyone in need. Some of my interests include staying spiritually grounded, traveling, listening to music, spending time with my family and friends, living outside the box, and online shopping.
Crystal Bland, MSED, NCC, LPC
I have a drive and a passion to help others. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Education/Mental Health from Old Dominion University which is where I started the process for licensure. I am currently finishing up my residency towards my LPC. Within my 4 years at NCG, I have managed to grow as a community based counselor as well as grow within my current position as a clinical supervisor. My passion to help others is evident in my work at NCG but also in the service and philanthropy that I engage in in my personal life through mentoring and service activities through my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
