Nakkia Brickhouse, LCSW, RPT-S

State Director

I have been with NCG since June, 2008. I started out as a Community Based Counselor II, then became a clinical supervisor, and an Assistant Site Director at the Virginia Beach site. I obtained my B.S. from Old Dominion University and my MSW degree from Norfolk State University. I am in the process of becoming a registered play therapist, and have started the Crisis Stabilization Program for children and adults at the Virginia Beach site. I also enjoy reading and watching movies.

Naeemah Jones, Ph.D.

Site Manager

I started my journey with NCG community in 2022. I obtained my B.S. degree from Old Dominion University, my M.S. degree from Walden University, and continued at Walden University, where I completed my Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology. I have been supporting and advocating for individuals with mental health for over fifteen years. I have extensive experience in clinical and counseling with a wide range of clients in various treatment settings, including a nonprofit community agency, a residential setting, and inpatient and outpatient facilities. I also have experience with psychological testing, which includes intelligence tests, aptitude tests, vocational tests, aptitude tests, and personality tests. I am ADOS-2 certified. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family.

Karimah O'Garro, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work

Clinical Supervisor

With a background in social work, I’ve spent the past few years weaving compassion and innovation into my work across various mental health services such as outpatient, IDD, case management, addiction recovery, and long-term care. I’m driven by a deep belief that healing is holistic—and love crafting fresh, meaningful ways to help people thrive. Outside of work, you’ll find me chasing joy and new adventures with the people I love most.

Treasure Wynder, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor

Treasure Wynder, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with experience serving children, adolescents, and families in both school-based and therapeutic settings. Her background as a school social worker and therapist has allowed her to support individuals through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges while helping them build resilience and confidence. Treasure earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia State University and her Master of Social Work from Howard University. She is committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care and creating supportive spaces where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
