Eric Carlson, MS
I enjoy carpentry and reading historical narratives, especially anything by David McCullough. I sing to acapella (AVB, Pentatonix) and play the guitar. Both my sons and I are very involved with the Civil Air Patrol, and my wife and I both enjoy time with our children and grandchildren. I am deeply appreciative of this privilege to counsel parents and families.
Trendell "TC" Clark, MS
I've been with NCG since 2005 and enjoy working with children and families to help improve lives. I also enjoy teaching staff new clinical skills and ways to improve their efficiency and enjoyment of working for NCG. I am an avid golfer and enjoy reading all types of books.
I am currently a clinical supervisor that joined the NCG family in 2011. During this time, I have enjoyed the training I have received, the relationships I have built, and opportunities presented to me that have allowed me to grow professionally as well as personally. I am passionate about providing assistance to troubled youth especially those whom are coming out of or have had any interaction with the criminal justice or correctional system. Within my downtime I enjoy travel (domestically and internationally), cycling, and exercising.
Teirra Collins, LCSW
I’ve always had a passion to help others. I recall exploring other fields in undergrad and after some self-searching, I decided that I wanted to make a difference and empower others to improve their lives. I have been working in the mental health field since 2008 and received my Master of Social Work degree in 2011 from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Nicole Domonique Cook, LCSW
Clinical Supervisor/Crisis Coordinator
I am a Michigan native however I’ve spent most of my life growing up right here in Virginia. Every since I was a young girl I realized my passion was to “help” people. With that being said, I received my Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I spent much of my beginning profession working as a part of a multidisciplinary team in the nursing home setting with the elderly and their families. I got the opportunity to begin with NCG in 2010 as a community based counselor and I knew from that moment that this was where I needed to be based on NCGs values and the impact that NCG had in the community. While working for NCG I realized that I wanted more for myself and decided to pursue my Masters in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University and then I became an LCSW. Along my journey I have had the opportunity to gain an immense amount of experience working with diverse populations such as the elderly, substance use, children, and families. My life experiences along with my work experience keep me enthusiastic about doing work for the community, growing the staff at NCG, and maintaining the values of NCG. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my two children, going to church, travelling, shopping, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
Tammy Musoke, LCSW
I have been with NCG since December 2009. I enjoy watching professional football and going to baseball games. My favorite things to do are spending time with my family and going to church. I am a proud graduate of Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina (Go Bulldogs). I have a Master's in Christian Education and Social Work with a certification in Early Intervention (birth to three) and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Tamara Simmons, LPC
“When we focus our energy towards constructing a passionate, meaningful life, we are tossing a pebble into the world, creating a beautiful ripple effect of inspiration. When one person follows a dream, tries something new or takes a daring leap, everyone nearby feels that energy, and before too long they are making their own daring leaps and inspiring yet another circle.”
