Clinical Supervisor
I was born in San Francisco to a military family of four. My family spans from the east coast of Brooklyn to the Czech Republic. I spent most of my adulthood in Colorado, where I gained invaluable teachings and experience at The University of Colorado. During this time, I was employed at The College of Education in the teacher education and counseling programs, while subsequently working as a primary counselor for a foster group home of youths ranging from age 7 to 16.
My master's internship and post grad were centered on addictions, specifically substance abuse and treatment, and PTSD, as I was a part of an outpatient facility which opened their doors to military personnel needing intensive trauma-focused therapy after returning home from the Iraq war. I moved to Virginia in 2010 and became a homed-based counselor, with an emphasis on family work, and a LPC.
I am happy to be here alongside my NCG team who are welcoming, experienced, and progressive!
