I am a Clinical Supervisor at National Counseling Group, Inc. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the States of Virginia and North Carolina. I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University in December 2004, and a Master of Arts Degree in the School of Psychology and Counseling from Regent University in May 2009. I am currently ABD in my doctoral program in which I am studying Human Services with a Concentration in Family Studies and Interventions. My professional work is largely concentrated within the child, adolescent, and adult at-risk populations. I have worked within the criminal justice system within the probation and parole office, and with juveniles sentenced to serve designated time on home confinement. Clinically, I have worked within the residential, prison, and community based settings. In addition, I have experience within the outpatient setting. I have a special interest in serving children and families of incarcerated individuals, couples, and families. While at NCG, I have served as a Community Based Counselor II, Senior Community Based Counselor, and Assessor. I currently serve as a Clinical Supervisor and am committed to providing services to enrich members of my team and evolve with NCG.
